We craft for more reasons than just because it is fun. We craft because we love to create beautiful things and cherish memories. Crafting gives us a chance to practice gratitude and time to self-reflect. Time in the craft room is one of the best ways to feed our spirits. Our spirit is fed when we bring our memories back to life and looking back on our lives gives us the opportunity to think about what we want life to look like in the future.
Fast forward a few years
What do you want life to be like in a few years? How can you develop more patience and kindness without compromising your boundaries? Perhaps there is a bad habit you can kick or you have a dream job that you want to go for? Maybe you want to start a nonprofit and help people or animals. Whatever your dream may be, the first thing you can do is believe in yourself. Clearly visualize your dream and then make a tangible plan. You can do this!

Make the dream real
Creating a dream board is a great family activity. This time together gives everyone the time to talk about things they would like to do in the future. Hopefully, the dreamer can receive support and encouragement from their family. Dream boards can do wonders for confidence, motivation, and getting in the habit of believing in oneself.Â

DIY Dream Board
To get started with your dream board you will need a poster or styrofoam board, paper, magazines, glue, and scissors. Put images on your board that represent what you want to do, where you want to go, what kind of person you want to be, and what you want to spend your time doing. Making a dream board is a powerful way to connect with your family.Â

Sounds like a great idea. May have to create a dream board for myself.
