Are you excited for the holidays? What is the best way to capture all your Christmas memories? The holiday season can be a stressful whirlwind. It is important to take time out of the busy season to craft and document all the special holiday moments. This project is meant to be a fun, memorable project that you can look back on in the coming years to remember each day.
December Daily is a mini-album project. It documents the 25 days leading up to Christmas. The idea is to capture the spirit of December with one story per day. December Daily was started in 2007 by Ali Edwards. She is a designer, blogger, workshop instructor, and author of four books about memory keeping. For many scrapbookers, this project is the highlight of the year. Many people come together to share their December stories with one another. It's a wonderful way to document and celebrate the holiday season.
The goal is to capture the spirit of Christmas time and all the festive activities both in and outside your home. You can use any size album, book, notebook, folio, journal, or flip-through that you want. You can use any materials or supplies that you want. Country Craft Creations has exclusive scrapbook paper that is perfect for this project.Â
Each spread in the journal is a story. Each page can be embellished with photos, stickers, tags, wrapping paper, die-cuts, stamps and ink. What kinds of stories can you document? Here are some ideas.

    Baking Cookies

    Christmas Movie

December is a wonderful time of year filled with falling snow, hot chocolate, and family gatherings. The December Daily is a wonderful way to capture these special memories. Make the December Daily journal as simple or elaborate as you wish. The holiday season doesn’t have to be a stressful whirlwind. Focus on family, friends, and the reason for the season. Â

I love Christmas. Since discovering CCC I now know how better to document my memories. Wish I had done it when the kids were young. Better late than never.

Christmases aren’t what they once were for my husband and I. Our children and grandchildren have grown and moved out of the area. I focus more now on token handmade gifts for friends and buying gifts for children who might not otherwise get gifts.
